Cuba Marsh Fall Family Session

Simon says wiggle! Simon says smile and look at the camera! Now stick out your tongue!

These girls were full of smiles while playing games during their portrait session at Cuba Marsh. While mom and dad were still getting their brother ready, we took advantage of the moment to try hopping on each foot, spinning in circles, and playing Ring Around the Rosie! It was a great way to start off the session and get a few moments of the sisters playing together.

Once everyone was camera-ready, we made sure to get the most important shot—everyone looking at the camera and smiling!

The session location was Cuba Marsh, but would you guess that we never left the parking lot? Sometimes the most beautiful locations are where you would least expect them! The location was easy to access with a backdrop of native grasses and trees, but we never even had to step into the long grass. When you have little ones (who are sometimes shorter than the grass!), this can be nice for quick access to strollers, the car, or if you don’t want to walk through landscape due to shoe or outfit restrictions.

No matter what, the location and amount of “off-roading” you’re comfortable with is totally up to you! For this session, we had a lot of fun staying next to the tall grasses with quick access to some marshmallow breaks.

Ally and Chuck, thank you for trusting me with your family photos! You were all so much fun to photograph!
